Caught Reading Photo Contest
Catch someone reading, take a photo and enter it in our Photo Contest. Enter as many photos as you'd like by June 25, 2013. Prizes will be awarded in different categories. Photos will be used to create a 2014 Plum Lake Library Calendar which will be sold as a fund raiser for the Elevator Fund.
Chair Decorating Contest
A chair decorating contest for “chair-ity” will be held as a fundraiser for the Plum Lake elevator fund. Participants will decorate a chair based on a favorite hobby, book, sports or any other unique theme. Participants must provide their own chair. The chair does not need to be functional. Contest chairs must be turned in to the library by June 20. They will be displayed in the library or throughout the community to allow friends, family and community members to vote for their favorite chair. Voting will run from June 20 to July 4th holiday. The winning chair will be determined by the amount of cash donations in each chairs “ chair-ity” jar. Chairs can be returned to the creator, or donated to the library for auction on July 18th.
