The
Plum Lake Public Library honored
two volunteers at the recent annual Volunteer Recognition
Dinner.
Special recognition was
given to Fay Sandman for 34 years of volunteer service.
She has seen the library go through many changes during that
time, beginning with a little hole-in-the-wall in the school
basement to its present facility on Main Street.
Also given special honors was Peter Gilbert, a junior at
Northland Pines high School, who has been a dedicated volunteer
at the Plum Lake library since he was in fourth grade. He
continues his volunteer service by supervising the current
Junior Library program. |
