Buck-a-Bag Book Sale
The Friends of the Plum Lake Library Buck-a-Bag Book Sale will be held during Labor Day weekend at the Plum Lake Public Library in Sayner. The dates and times are Thursday, August 31st from 10am to 3pm, Friday, September 1st from 10am to 1pm and Saturday, September 2nd from 10am to 1pm. Fill a bag with books from our book sale and all you pay is $1.00. Feel free to use one of our bags or bring your own.
Tickets are available for the Friends of the Plum Lake Library Quilt Raffle. The beautiful 90” x 90” quilt was made by friend of the library Judy Kaisler and is titled “Cabin in the Woods”. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017. You do not need to be present to win.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
1000 books before kindergarten is an early literacy program designed to help prepare a child to enter kindergarten. The goal is to foster a love for reading. Children from infant up to kindergarten can participate. Stop into the library to sign up and get a folder and reading log. A Taste of Tradition Cookbooks
The Friends of the Plum Lake Library have complied a wonderful cookbook featuring recipes from the Taste Testing Luncheons, Hor D' Oeuvres Buffets and other fundraisers that they have sponsored. The cookbooks are available at the library for $9.00 each. Cookbooks can also be purchased by mail. The cost for each cookbook is $9.00 plus $3.00 shipping.
