Junior Librarians
The Junior Librarian program is open to children in 6th grade and up who are interested in volunteering their time in the library. Some of the activities that they are involved in are: helping to plan and execute summer reading programs, planning and participating in special library programs such as the upcoming
"Howl" iday storytime to be held on October 23. They also shelve children's books and prepare craft projects for the story hour program.
Their newest project is the "Reading Buddies" program where they read along with younger children who are having problems with reading. If you know of a child who needs reading help and is interested in having a reading buddy, contact the library at 542-2020.
Anyone interested in being a Junior Librarian can stop by the library and talk to Mrs. Nemec. Junior Librarians meet after school and on Saturdays.
